Here’s a look back at some of Zamirs recent events…
Sacramento > July 2021
After watching Californication TV series I was dreaming to come over and get some experience. Sacramento, it’s capital, happened to be my first stop. My FB friends Kristy and Andy were my local handlers to fix my cultural explorations and set up foodpairing Russian theme event with Zamir vodka tasting. But more importantly the main reason for this visit was Roadrunner film release on July 16. So after brief Sacramento downtown walking tour with insightful look into city old architecture and diversified food scene Tower ok’d theater welcomed my friends and myself for screening itself. It was bittersweet experience of watching Tony traveling and sharing “ medium raw” essays on many countries of the world. It was very dramatic narration that kept us all awed for nearly 2 hours. The climax of that day happened at Easy diner, whose owners Liz and Chas prepared Russian appetizers of sprats, rye bread, sausage and lard to help better accommodate Zamir Peacemaking Vodka. Among my old and abs friends , Ivan and Leila Alonso were outstanding due to their 10 hour travel from Seattle ( plane plus driving) to finally met me and asked many questions on my experience being Tony’s travel partner for 16 years. Everything ended to mutual satisfaction with many toasts, raffled gifts and many photo sessions. The beginning was very inspiring and encouraging! Long live Sacramento!
